    1. You said it! Han Solo is BACK!

And ever since 1983 really it was pretty much a forgone conclusion that IF there was ever another SW movie after ROTJ Ford would NOT be in it! Well, well, well . . . I'm so glad the old scoundrel softened his stance because without him it wouldn't be the same.

    2. He only came back because he wants a good death

    3. Possibly, but you should remember that J.J. Abrams wrote Regarding Henry, a movie that got Harrison Ford a great deal of attention. He might like the idea of doing three films with J.J. not to mention the fat pay check.

  2. hehe imagine if he was with Mark and Carrie ;) Can't wait for on-set photos of them together and bloopers and press and GAH

  3. "I love Harrison. Part of it might be that he’s a human being first and a carpenter second. And then an actor, and I mean that in a good way. He’s not someone who brings that kind of diva ugliness into a project. He just brings that candor. He comes to work prepared and goes to work and does his thing. He’s a good man. And he’s very, very funny. I would love to work with him again."

    1. Ford comes off as a grumpy old man.

    2. Ford does come off as a grumpy old man. Replace Harrison with Mark, and delete "carpenter" and I think the above quote from JJ would make more sense.

    3. Maybe he comes off as an old man because he is 71.

    4. What did you work with him on AnonymousApril 25, 2014 at 9:56 PM

    5. Maybe if you had your picture taken every fucking time you went anywhere, you'd be grumpy too.

    8. No. Morning Glory is that thing that guys wake up with when they wake up. But you're talking about the film so you get a credit for that. There was some sarcasm there by the way.

    10. That was a great retort Fettman. I don't care what anybody says. As folks keep goofing, keep the levity coming. Far better than listening to some of our kin folk here arguing over the tiniest tidbit of gossip any day of the week.

  8. I saw him coming out of a parking garage in nyc about 14-15 yrs ago. I was walking in with two friends. Life long star wars fan since it come out in 1977 when i was 5. As i see him approaching us i say rather loudly, "Hey its Han Solo!" Well he gave me the dirtiest look ever and kept on walking without speaking a word. My friends just laughed and said something to the effect,if looks could kill

    1. lol no hawaii would be a random place to be. Celebs are in London all the time. I think Mark lives in London and Carrie wants to do her new show here

  14. This pic is the reason he always hated to talk about Star Wars. He doesn't look like he's in the mood for pics. Posting a paparazzi style pic as the pic of the day takes away a bit of legitimacy of this site as it is in poor taste.

    1. um no stalking celebrities and taking pictures and criticizing their body or clothes is 'poor taste'. The only reason it's posted here is to clarify he's in London. Nothing wrong in that.

      Delete
    2. That's the kind of shit that happens to famous people all the time. And if these famous people don't like it then they should not have gotten into the business in the first place.

      Delete
    3. If this site is in poor taste then why are you reading it? The dude who made this site didn't snap the photos... he's just re-posting them so that we nerds can enjoy looking at a grumpy Harrison Ford. Last two comments A++

    5. Yes I can read, and I stick by my question.

This is not the first time that pics have been posted of celebrities in public here. I don't get what your deal is... these actors make a lot of money to be seen by hundreds of millions in theaters. If Harrison wanted a private life he sure picked a peculiar career. If I could trade a lack of privacy for millions I think it's a fair deal... I think most of us could agree on that.

    6. We know he chose a life that can lead to celebrity status. I know a lot of actors that just make a living. I work with celebrities all day and they work their butts off 14 hours a day. It's not like they sit around, act and then take in the dough. They deserve a private life too whether you guys think so or not. I know how they feel about an unflattering pic being published, but this site made it pic of the day. I think it's in poor taste and if you think Harrison ford would be flattered you are wrong.

  15. I hope he's less angry and bored in this movie than of late. Mark Hamill I'm not worried about.

    1. And not a tweet from Mark Hamill since mid March, his twitters gone quiet, wonder where he is? Layin low in ol London town, eh?

    2. Mark and Carrie have a lot of potential. Mark really puts in a lot of effort in his roles. A while back I wanted to see what Carrie's acting was like so I checked out White Lightnin'. She was bloody incredible. Harrison on the other hand really doesn't put in any effort at all. Plus he isn't very fond of Han Solo.. Hate to say it, but I really do smell a disaster ahead. Lets hope JJ motivates the crap out of him and does a buttload of takes. Harrison's completely listless performance in enders games has scarred me for life..

    3. Possibly Ford's grumpy, browbeaten profile will be complimented by the EPVII script, and see him hardly at the peak of his career, bent by war and bureaucracy and even setting the stage for his death in the same film. To get the sacrificial hero's send-off he wanted for RotJ, a coda of sorts. Hamill and Fisher could easily outlast him and see through EPs VIII-IX.

      Delete
    4. Yeah, that was what i was thinking too, I think it might have been a caveat of him returning to the role (plus it'd make a great set piece to ep7 and set the next two up superbly, especially if it's his kids settling the score afterwards)

  16. Carrie's tweet-
"So my do dog Gary has been spotted in London, but apparently without me. Who has he been seeing? Let me know if you have any clues."
    Haha love her.

Just to make clear while the Ford pics were from 2 days ago, the Carrie pix was from 2012, simply to show her with her dog. Was causing confusion, so changed it. But she WAS seen coming thru customs with the pooch, can confirm that.

  18. kkk It would be a lot funny if we get some argues with our old friend Solo here and Princess Leia in the new movie

    ReplyDelete
  19. Wait, wasn't Ford just shooting a movie in the UK? He was probably just there for that.

Oh yeah, I forgot that EP 7 "starts shooting" in 3 weeks, even though there is no official word exactly when.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Harrison is a total introvert, which is why he doesn't like dealing with fame. He just wants to sit on his ranch in Montana and smoke weed from what I have heard. That's probably why his voice is shot.

Notice that Mark still has a very energetic voice. So I hope Mark has the bigger role in EP 7. It means a lot more to him, too.

  21. Something tells me Harrison's demeanor and JJ's antics will create....drama.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Han Solo's death could be the pinnacle of EP 7. The emotional impact could be huge. Then its up to Carrie and Mark for 8 and 9.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Lucas apparently vetoed Han's death in Return of the Jedi because he didn't believe "dead Han toys" would sell as well.

I don't know if they want to release any "old, grey-haired Han" toys anyway? So lets kill'im! No longer marketable, got to go ...

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I don't think Kathleen Kennedy cares about selling toys as much as George lol. Disney aren't stupid, they know that whatever they put on screen, people will buy the toys of. They won't suit the film for maximum toy profits. The profits will be through the roof anyway. Their main priority is getting peoples faith back into the franchise after the prequels so they can do whatever they want and have confidence people will buy into it whatever films tv/shows they want to do.

  24. Grosvenor square is in the area of Mayfair. I bet you disney got him a nice hotel here. I bet you he got what ever he wanted to appear in this film................ that being also to just appear in episode 7 and no further episodes. That's what i think anyway.

  25. By not announcing the big three, we have the media and fans following their every move. Could this allow JJ and others to move about with less scrutiny?
