All this shit about episode 7 is a great way to let off some steam and vent your anger about what is going to happen in the next Star Wars film. But let me let into a little bit of reality. I've just been diagnosed with type 2 Diabetes. That's right, type 2 diabetes. so as far as I'm concerned all these petty arguments about who is going to play this part or who is playing this part to me is now insignificant. Now I'm going to let off some anger. Stop the bullshit. Wait for these films to be released. because I'm not sure If I'll get to see all of them. Until I go and see a dietitian and other people that can help me I don't know how long I've got. I have no idea what I'm up against. I Might as well be Darth Vader as far as I am
concerned. Now I know some of you will call bullshit on my post And to tell you the truth I could not give one iota of shit. But one thing I will say is that I have given forth some hate that I shouldn't have and have received a lot of bullshit I deserved but a lot of you are doing the same thing and having a cry about it. This will probably be my last post as I'm not going to give or put up with anymore bullshit. If Lucas didn't want the Jedi ...Anon @ 5:05 AM

If Lucas didn't want the Jedi to have children, he shouldn't have focused so much of the OT on the importance of Vader and Luke's complicated relationship as father and son. It's because he's Vader's son that Luke has the ability to grow in the ways of the Force and save the day.

No wonder the EU went down the same path of continuing to have Jedi give birth to Force sensitive offspring.

It blows my mind how the Force can be strong in a Jedi's family and how Luke and Leia were clearly able to save the day, yet Jedi having children is forbidden. ^_-

How convenient that the sibling with the womb gets to bear Jedi without becoming one herself. I guess that would be "impossible", right?

Luke contradicts your statement in Episode VI:

"LUKE: You're wrong, Leia. You have that power too.
In time you'll learn to use it as I have. The
Force is strong in my family. It blows my mind how Lucas is trying to demonstrate that attachment is a bad thing for Jedi. The OT is all about emotional attachment ultimately being a positive thing. That's why I love those movies - these characters act like human beings! :D

Emotional attachment motivated Han to risk his life for Luke on Hoth, as well as Lando for the gang on Bespin, the gang for Han on Tatooine and so on. Luke's attachment to his friends almost cost him dearly, but at least he made me feel something genuine.

I don't want Jedi who behave like robots; I want Jedi who are mature enough to balance out their attachments with wisdom, moderation and restraint. Anakin's crazy obsession with trying to save Padme should not be the result of a Jedi trying to live like normal people. o_0

I like how a Jedi's attachment can possibly lure them to the dark side if they're not careful. This only adds to the drama of the films. However, it shouldn't be over-the-top.

My impression of the Jedi Order from the OT was that they were more like a mix of pastors and law enforcement officers who were devoted to their religion and code yet had spouses and children and lived among the people of the galaxy. The Force was strong in a Jedi's family, like with Anakin's offspring. Where's the logic in not allowing them the opportunity to live like normal people and have children who can potentially be part of the next generation of Jedi Knights?

How odd that Luke can have friends but not a wife, especially since his very life demonstrates the value of Jedi having successful offspring. I'm just glad people are calling for him to forsake his friendships and live as a hermit.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4104469133277555786.post-69500305701061405562014-04-19T07:32:25.126+01:002014-04-19T07:32:25.126+01:00http://nationalreport.net/michelle-obama-play-wife...http://nationalreport.net/michelle-obama-play-wife-lando-calrissian-star-wars-episode-7/Fettmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15818275744980196209noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4104469133277555786.post-37182946447837206392014-04-19T07:07:35.991+01:002014-04-19T07:07:35.991+01:00Mr Bulloch's far more interesting outside of t...Mr Bulloch's far more interesting outside of the armour ... be a shame to submerge him under the metal bucket, a role anybody can play. Boba was merely a plot device to allow Vader to ambush the rebels on Cloud City. He was killed off quickly in RotJ because his use was at an end. Jango outperformed Boba in every sense, and through his adventures, Fett fans got their 'Fett Movie' fix. He's been mined, depleted twice, and there are so many more characters old and new who are more interesting than a goon in a battlesuit who whispers soundbites. And, isn't Star Wars centred on the theme of humanity defeating cold unfeeling technology? If his child was a couple years old when he died in ROTJ, then 30 years later he would be fit and ready and strong to go after them. Also, he could have had other adventures along the way that leads up to his time of revenge. Look at Jango Fetts son Bobba...... Bobba was a boy when his dad died, but didnt become the bounty hunter Bobba Fett until about 3 decades or a few years earlier.....So the time frame of 3 decades fits perfect. It would be better to have Bobba have a son who later on goes after Han and Lando. Maybe you could say that Bobbas son didnt know about his dads death until he was an adult. That plot is alot better than bringing bobba Fett back to life after falling in the sarlac pit. lol no one could survive Jabbas sarlac pit. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
