Still such simple logos are very often used in promotion campaigns when they take place very early in the development of a certain movie. They made a similar logo for Transformers 3 and it was legit.

Yeah no it's just a marketing thing for whatever reason like posters and t-shirts etc etc etc. Even though i'm 274% it's fake anyway as it would just be a really bad and pointless marketing trick in the first place.
