UPDATED With 3 Videos! Harrison Ford Still Undecided on Episode 7. Michael B. Jordan Confirms Audition.

episode 7

Harrison Ford and Benedict Cumberbatch both appeared on The Graham Norton show. The show will air on BBC One tomorrow at 10.35pm. One of the highlights from the show will be of course questions about Star Wars. They both won't be spared. Here's a taste of what to expect...

So during the show when Ford was asked about Episode 7 he simply answered:

“I’ve not quite made the choice.”

I'm sure there'll be plenty more tomorrow when the full show is released. It also would be interesting to see what Benedict Cumberbatch will have to say...

UPDATED with 3 videos from the show.

Reports from few days ago revealed that Michael B. Jordan had met with J.J. Abrams personally. Now the actor himself confirms that he indeed went to audition for an unknown role in Star Wars: Episode 7...

Jordan, who met George Lucas through "Red Tails," says he auditioned for an unspecified part but didn't wield a lightsaber.
In similar manner as Saoirse Ronan did few days ago he made it clear that the audition doesn't mean anything. Everybody is going in on this project:

"I mean, everybody's going in on this project. They're trying to figure out what they want," he said. "That's another incredible franchise. It's pretty crazy!"

  1. Probably saying this because he knows that so many are expecting it so instead of ignoring the question he's saying something that isn't a 'yes'. But come on Harrison, if you decline the role I will hunt you down with a lightsaber! Also on a weird side note- I like the hair he is sporting lately, I don't know, star wars hairdresser people please take note because it looks very Han Solo and very awesome.

  2. They already said he would use a wig if he came back.

    1. That would be a mistake.

    2. a wig?? why?? where did you hear that? That would just be utterly stupid and pointless. and very distracting !

    3. He doesn´t need a wig, he is supposed to be 30 something years older, but i sure do hope that Mark Hamill will have a beard so we really can see that he now has a obi wan type role & that it would make him look older & wiser

  3. all fans should relax.. harrison Ford will be in the movie, and i know all 3 will play major roles in part 7.... not to mention that Lucas made ford a mega star with star wars and Indiana Jones..... to me, this is just to hype it as much as they can... besides, we still have to wait about 2 years before it comes out.. so we will hear many rumors of this and that even while they are in the middle of shooting the film........ plus what kind of fun would it be if we all knew excatly what 7 will be this early ?.... all fans should just kick back and relax... they all will be in it, and it will be a great movie...... the original star wars trilogy ignited the movie world and with its historical history, they will milk the hype up for as long as possible for part 7.... its just part of the business....

    1. I wonder how many fans will pass away in those two years, some without even getting to see the trailer.

    2. I hope you're right... but don't put any money on your bet.

    3. "I wonder how many fans will pass away in those two years, some without even getting to see the trailer." That's actually a really good point, from illness/cancer/age/ or whatever, I'm sure some diehard fans will never reach 2 years. That's pretty heartbreaking.

    4. oh i am right.. Star Wars 7 will be the greatest movie ever.... connecting 3 generations all in one.. there is not one movie out there that can say that.... not even star trek..... and yes it is sad some elders and victims will die before it comes out, but you can say that about many that never got to see part 1,2 and 3 years after the original trilogy.....

  4. Of course he is lying. Do you really think they would allow him to decide AFTER the script had been finalised? Then allow him the option to pull out shortly before principle filming starts? That would be madness.

The movie is called Episode VII. The audience will expect the story to follow on from Episode VI, with the main actors returning. There will be a massive backlash if the big 3 don't return.

    Disney isn't stupid.

  5. Surely if filming is soon to begin, the script will be done. They said they wouldn't recast if one of them wouldn't want to come back, they would just leave them out of the film. Surely he can't back away now can he so far in the process?? Presuming it's just lies and stuff.

  6. What other part would Michael B. Jordan be auditioning for besides the son of Lando? That'll be an interesting addition to the character base. I'm really looking forward to this.

    1. Of course, since Lando is the only black character in Star Wars, it MUST be Lando's son...

      Delete
    2. It's possible that he's not auditioning for Lando's son. It could be just some other black guy. I mean do you think that Lando and his offspring are the only black guys in the Galaxy?

      Delete
    3. Oh come on. Knock it off with the unnecessary race baiting.

Billy Dee Williams himself said that he'd think having a daughter Jedi would be the way to go, but there's nothing preventing Lando from having a son either. It's a perfectly reasonable guess to make.

There was also Mace Windu and Captain Panaka. Darth Vader and Jar Jar Binks were voiced by black actors. A black actress played Oola, though the character was a green Twi'lek. There were also a number of black fighter pilots, soldiers, and guards.

    4. you got to love all the ones who just think about race.... oh my goodness thats right !!! Jar Jar comes back to life as a dark piece of chicken and riding the purple dinosaur Barney.. YA !! oh wait thats racist hahaha.....

      Delete
    5. Not about race, just saying just because he's black does not mean he's reading for Lando's son.

      Delete
    6. Perhaps he's reading for the part of a "Dark" jedi. LOL

      Delete
    7. If it's not about race, then why make such a purely idiotic and completely embarrassing race baiting statement, which you should be apologizing for?

Heck, if you actually look at the guy's face, and look beyond the petty shallowness of racial obsession, he even looks similar to a young Billy Dee Williams, like he could be Lando's son.

So as I said before, suggesting that he could play Lando's son is a completely reasonable guess to make, as opposed to your completely unreasonable race baiting nonsense.

    8. Races? Are Whites and Blacks and Yellow and whatever different races of humans? Is that accurate inn scientific terms?

      Delete
    9. there are many races in star wars, most of them alien, if you are a star wars fan, you can not be a racist & if you are, then you have not understood anything about those movies, even some aliens of the same species have different skin clour, that´s pretty cool :)

      Delete
    10. It is NOT race baiting to say that he may not be reading for Lando's son. My goodness people, you are all far too sensitive for rational thought if you think by suggesting he's not reading for Lando's son it's somehow racist. In fact, I would think the other way. If you think that the only other black guy in Star Wars must be Lando's son, then you are more racist than I am. So don't go off calling someone is a racist or accusing them of race baiting just because he has an open mind about who is cast in what role.
