Rumor: Star Wars: Episode 7 Shooting Schedule: May 19 - August 8. Casting Complete Except for the 2 Leads. The Big Three Are Back?

These all came from a single tweet from Ali Arikan. Some of his SW rumors were debunked before but I still have faith in him. Check it out...

I wonder what he meant by everyone is back. Just the Big Three or also Lando, Chewie and C-3PO.

Or maybe in the light of the other news:   : )

And an interesting tweet from C-3PO himself:

    1. Well said, well said. Actually, it wasn't. You're complaining about a pretty competent company but you're unable to construct a coherent forum post.

    2. News? What news? We didn't get any news.

    3. Reminds me of the MST3K mantra. Except instead of a tv show, this is a twitter post. So, it applies more.

    4. The Big 3 being Joel, Tom Servo and Crow?

    5. The mantra is:

"If you're wondering how he eats and breathes, and other science facts,: Then repeat to yourself, "It's just a show, I should really just relax.""

  3. Anthony Daniels tweeted this "Lovely pack of gold 3PO money bags from my friends at LFL/D, to celebrate Chinese New Year. Sadly, they had not understood the instructions."
Nice to know Anthony Daniels has made friends at Lucasfilm and Disney. I wonder why? *hint* *hint*

    1. Because he's a really nice guy? I have no clue what you're suggesting.

    2. "I have no clue what you're suggesting." Haha oh come on. He plays C3PO, and he currently has 'friends' at Disney and Lucasfilm. In other words- The actor who plays C3PO has made friends with the companies that happen to be in charge of star wars episode 7..

      Delete
    3. Yeah. Cause who wouldn't want to be friends with Anthony. But the public would be in outrage if there was no Goldenrod in the new movies so I'd agree that Disney wants too be friends for more then just his personality

  4. I think we will even get to see minor characters from the OT. I´d love to see Nien Nunb again :)

    2. I'd love to see Wedge and Mon Mothma back. Nien Nunb I can live without haha.

    3. The one character that should be back which nobody is talking about is... Anakin Skywalker. Remember, all the episodes are part of his story, and he is not even gone, being a ghost.

      Delete
    4. Nien Nunb is a sick dude, back off fool - we dont need no wrinkly ol Mon Mothma

    5. Please god we should not have Anakin back. The story of star wars is about the republic/empire, while following the skywalkers. It's not about Anakin. So this trilogy should be about Lukes kid, while having Luke part of the story. We don't need Anakin too, he's already been redeemed from the dark side. And, two words; Hayden Christensen.

      Delete
    6. The LAST thing the ST needs is more friggin' Anakin. There's no real story justification for it, for one thing, as his story was concluded at the end of ROTJ. Plus, do we really need any more of Hayden Christensen's "Darth BoyBand" schtick mucking up the new films? His pointless insertion into the shot with Obi Wan and Yoda in the Endlessly-Screwed-With Version of ROTJ was bad enough. Leave the poor ST alone, fer the luvva GAHHHD!!

      Delete
    7. Wedge, Wedge is the minor character who should return!!!!!!!

      Delete
    8. Couldn't agree more with DEKKA129. The story of Anakin has been told. The sequel trilogy should focus on the next skywalker, Luke being the father. We don't need Luke's father too.

  5. I want to see Lobot

  6. ..still no news on the ONE character we're all wondering about..

    Yak Face!

  7. They'll find Yaddle frozen in carbonite. Thaw her out: Bam! Jedi master!

  8. Hope this means the greatest Star Wars character from the original trilogy will also return...Salacious B. Crumb, or at least get his own spin-off movie.

    1. I think Salacious is dead......Hey, just my opinion :)
Nien Numb, Lobot, Dengar, Mon Mothma, some Gamorrean guard....would be nice

    2. Of course he's dead. He got blowed up on Jabbas sail barge.

40 More STAR WARS Movies??? OMG

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Disney meant that they think they can milk Star Wars for money for 40 more years. 40 movies would be ridiculous.

      Delete
    2. It's pretty logical. It's been almost 40 years since A New Hope. Obviously Disney expect to repeat the cycle.

  14. If Lando's in it, he better be part of the New Republic and not some owner of a mining facility. He really got typecast by being the adminastrator of Cloud City's mining operation. The only reason he was is because he won it in a game of sabacc. It's not like he went to college and majored in mining.

    ReplyDelete

    1. He majored in shitting winnings and even shittier losses at sabbac. "Ha, that idiot, now he has to have a mobile mining station on a planet with massive radiation!!"

    2. The EU reversed Lando and Han from being respectable officers. I hope they don't repeat that mistake in these films.

      Delete
    3. Respectable officers? They were both generals, sure but in the scheme of things Han is wholly irrelevant to the galaxy post rotj

      Delete
    4. Exactly, that is FROM THE EU, which did what I said. This new timeline post ROTJ could evolve, rather than de-evolve, him.

  15. I hope Goldenrod is Rainbow Rod in Episode VII.

  16. George said the big 3 were coming back like a year ago.

    we need no sucky ghosts

    1. We don't and shouldn't have Anakin. But Yoda should come back even if it's only for a quick scene with Luke. He's the personification of the light/good side of the force.

      Delete
    2. Yoda showing up in the form of a force ghost to inform Luke of a new threat to the galactic balance wouldn't be bad, but like everything else, I'd rather not see it overdone. That's what worries me in any aspect of new Star Wars material.

    2. Ok then, thanks. Other sites have been saying that the casting is complete too, you're the only one reasonable enough to fix it.

  20. My biggest worry for EP7 must be the villain. Now, how do you top of Vader and the Emperor? It just can't be done. And I suspect my biggest disappointment will lie there.
The best part of SW is the bad guys. Bringing back Luke, Han, Leia and all the others is the easy part. Creating a new super villain will be hard. Cause how will they tie the new baddie inn to the whole continuing story? How will they tie him/her into the story? The more I think about that kind of points me inn the direction that it will be someone we already know. Nothing else kind of makes sense.

    1. I think Thrawn from the books would make a cool villain- blue skin, hypnotic glowing red eyes, evil genius. Or they could just resurrect the Emperor some how.. imagine seeing an old master Luke having a rematch with a resurrected Palpatine..anyway, yes the evil needs to be probably even scarier again than the OT(hideous screech from within dark hood).

      Delete
    2. "Imagine seeing an old master Luke having a rematch with a resurrected Palpatine" I've actually been imagining that for ages. Listen to what the emperor himself said, 'the dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities, some consider to be unnatural'. Plus it makes sense for continuity to keep the villain the same for all the films. If I was in charge, I would have it so the emperor (while he was falling to his death) tapped into the dark side of the force to move his soul somewhere else and then over time resurrect himself. Ok it sounds stupid when it's written down, but this is the force. Jedi can come back as ghosts and nobody questions that, and the dark side of the force has way more freaky powers and abilities to tap into than the light side of the force. I would have the emperor come back in episode 8 or 9 as like a shock/plot-twist kind of thing, while his apprentice has been doing the heavy lifting and rivaling Luke's kid. Then Luke himself can show up to fight the emperor. (Maybe Luke dies and it's left to his kid) Dunno, sounds like it has all kinds of potential and sounds cool in my head.

      Delete
    3. I think you are partially correct. My suspicion is that it will be the LEGACY of Palpatine that gets fought. An apprentice, someone who discovered his written down teachings and follows them.

This has been a problem with Star Wars, that whole "Drako in Leather Pants" trope. I wouldn't be surprised if it we get an evil version of Luke's journey. Good person, gets corrupted, and trained to be a Sith over time, and the audience is conditioned to hate them. (This is pure speculation based on public statements by lucasfilm people about the villains being too popular)

      Delete
  21. I think Luke WOULD be a great villain for this one,i think,it would give everyone a reason to comeback to fight him. Plus he could train someone else too as a dark apprentice. And resurrect the empire (possibly even find a Palpatine clone ordered from Kamino)
