Star Wars: Rebels Action Figures and LEGO Sets.

rebels

Check out these LEGO sets with the rebels starships the Ghost and the Phantom. Also after the Inquisitor toy here's the first look of the Kanan action figure...

 From USA Today:

"The Ghost" set ($89.99) has 929 pieces and features the Ghost and its heroes, including the cowboy Jedi Kanan Jarrus, Twi'lek crew member Hera Syndulla and alien Zeb Orrelios, plus an Imperial Stormtrooper. Fans of the Millennium Falcon will dig the Ghost and its dual cockpits, rotating turret, ejecting space pods and a pair of spring-loaded shooters.

And with 234 pieces, the "Phantom" set ($24.99) contains the Phantom ship — with folding wings and a detachable cockpit — that can be combined with the LEGO Ghost as well as mini-figs of cadet pilot Ezra Bridger and the grouchy astromech droid Chopper.

  1. Still don't understand why the inquisitor's saber hilt is enclosed inside of some sort of circular handguard. I hate this loss of functionality in the character designs. Makes me feel like lots of people could have done better if they had been given the opportunity.

    1. Didn't the toy version of Grievous's lightsaber have the same design? I suspect it is so the blades can spin around. Sigh.

    3. If you look at the available screenshots from Rebels, you can see that it's not just for playful toy purposes, it's part of his saber hilt in the show. My question is: why?

    4. I agree. I love the fact that you can see the logic to the older designs, Unfortunately we're going into an age where there is an over-glorification on aesthetics rather than logic.

  2. For me, moulded Lego is an oxymoron and completely pointless.

    1. Completely with you on that one. Unfortunately, its a cash grab for toy companies and movies/w tie-ins. When I was a kid, I'd rather build something unique than follow a set of instructions. I hope there's something else replacing legos for originality and imagination.

    2. what is moulded lego? like is it all assembled as one item already?

    3. What I believe he means is a set that is meant to be put together in only one specific way, following directions provided. No sand box type building.

    4. Have some patience for god's sake. We all know it sucks having to wait for the next installment of our favorite saga, but complaining about it won't do anyone any good.

    5. "I want news star wars 7"
and you don't think millions of others are wanting episode 7 news? There isn't any but I'd rather be informed on Rebels then not be informed of anything at all.

    6. Yeah, much better to read a website with actual words on it rather than a blank screen (which is pretty much what we know about EVII so far). I'm just glad EVII will finally be made!

Super exciting new image. Lot's of screen caps from the original trilogy around the room and photographs on the table. Also a monitor showing what looks like Luke in the Dagobah cave about to face Vader from the empire strikes back. Even Millenium falcon concept art flying over what looks like a ship, above a rocky looking planet, and a picture besides with more detailed painting of a rocky looking setting. Rick Carter, Kathleen Kennedy, and JJ Abrams are there. Also with John Knoll too, didn't know he was on the project.

  5. Not really sold on this rebels stuff... other than the era it takes place. Still more than willing to give it a chance. Character designs have been terrible though... just so bland.

  6. Ehh.. Don't really care about incredibly overpriced legos, but I do lik the design of the "Ghost"

  7. Yeah, that "Ghost ship" looks pretty badass!

  8. The Inquisitor's saber is actually detachable into 2 sabers. The hilt on the single saber then is reminiscient of a pirates scimitar.
