  2. Poor, poor Penny. By long exposure to her geek neighbors her mind has been hopelessly corrupted, and she is horrified to realize that she UNDERSTANDS the Star Wars references!

  3. I am starting to sense a disturbance in the Force...

... and it's telling me this: "May 4 will consist only of stupid television Star Wars parodies, Lego yoda characters, and a Rebels trailer." NO Star Wars VII title or cast or anything.

  4. Force Ghosts in episode 7! Remember Luke can only see the people he knew with the Force. And this is cannon. ;) I would expect in Episode 7 we will definitely see Yoda as a force ghost. And maybe an older version of Ewan Mc Gregor as Obi One. And May Anakin Skywalker as well... A creepy Ghost for Luke to see would be the Emperor which by cannon since he knew him could visit Luke. I would imagine that JJ plans on using the above mentioned. After all it is cannon. And Emperor visiting the villain if he knew him as a child. This is going to be great.

I do hope to see Princess Leia use the force in a special way during the movie. Yes and wielding a Light Saber.

I watched ROJ last night in slow review form. The part where Yoda is dying and tells Luke the path he must follow. Again that is big cannon for the films. Yoda told Luke about his sister and that she was also strong in the force and he also instructed her to be trained. It would be cool in this film to learn that she was trained as the 2nd Jedi after Luke. Even though she is in the role of a Politician and royalty but none the less a trained Jedi with the force as her ally.

  5. Remember Canon is just the films and not the EU. If you go back and watch Return of the Jedi and listen to what Yoda, Obi One tell Luke on Dagobah it is rich with canon. And this is what JJ and his crew are doing. And the new actors as well. This folks is canon and not the EU. So dump the EU from your brain. Retain some of it because they might use Jaina Solo etc.. but again it is not gospel as the films themselves are.

  6. I would definitely expect Leia to demonstrate some kind of Force mastery in VIII, though perhaps she is not a full-time Jedi. I rather expect she will be some kind of politicial leader at this stage -- maybe Galactic president, even. But it depends on the setting. Are we going to see a more or less well-functioning New Republic (UNTIL the new crisis strikes) or a galaxy in anarchy and turmoil from the start?

  7. Han and Leia should be retired, Leia being a Jedi but a retired Jedi none the less. Luke should head the New Jedi Order, and whatever events occur will bring them together one last time.
