Confirmed! The Stunt Video With Daisy Ridley Is Fake!

star wars

Thanks to a post on Twitter we can finally say that the stunt video released a few days ago has nothing to do with Star Wars and Daisy Ridley...

Twitter member @stuntnova recognised the stunt video and revealed that it's actually a video made by Stunt Lab.

From the description on Stunt Lab Facebook page:
Here is our opening for the ICON Action Stunt Lab Wire Seminar. Stuntwoman Jessi Fisher gave a demo riding our amazing 3 axis computerized nitrogen ratchet system. Which allow stunts to be performed with a moving take off, giving more life to the stunt's beginning. featuring a totally controlled flight through the air, and a pneumatically cushioned landing for the performer without the need for stunt pads in the landing area. All impact is an acting performance by the stunt person, much like taking a punch in a fight scene.

Well that's it. Case closed. Still I continue to believe that the Darkside creature photo is legit. For that old story click here.

  1. Whew! That's what I been saying on that youtube video comment section. Its has nothing to do with Star Wars. Only the photo is legit and has nothing to do with that stunt video.

  2. Glad to hear it was confirmed fake. I don't mind fairly realistic flips, jumps and falls, but this is approaching PT levels. ;O

  3. The Sith Witch pic? Real? What makes you so sure?

Sorry but you were convinced we would be getting a cast announcement last year in october on the anniversary of the epiosde vii/disney lucasfilm sale announcement, and convinced about a lot of other stuff haha. If the picture was indeed legit, then it would surely be taken down anyway, as would this video if it were also legit. :|

    3. Yah which got taken down because that was actually legit, which begs the question, why isn't the picture of that monster taken down if it's not fake? ;) ;) ;)

Has it not become abundantly clear to us all that the leak was intentional?

    5. You can still find the image on the web. Link to one of the locations was posted in the comments of the 45 Photos article. The article was up just for 5 hours. :(

    2. ^actually it will, thank you very much. Now try to show the same amount of courtesy and shut up about your prequel hate.

    3. I'm sorry, I'm not sure what "hate" you're referring to. There's not an ounce of me that absolutly hates the prequels. Each and every one of them has incredible parts to it, but they'll never live up to the legacy left by episodes IV V and VI.
Jumping to conclusions and making foolish false accusations anonymously never helped anyone...

    4. Jar Jar was an abomination and Hayden Christiansen is a shit actor. Those are two facts that every Star Wars fan has to come to terms with; like learning that Santa isn't real...

    5. Then bravo Darth Whiffy for not hating the prequels. There's someone in this galaxy who thinks like me then.

All joking aside, this is good news. Nyong'o and Gwendoline are very talented actresses. And this series certainly needs more women.

haha I was waiting for the creeps to get their claws out at the people who *gasp* wanted more female characters!!! WHAT HORROR!!

    7. @Anon 5:41, don't fan the flames. There will always be people like that.

But that's not the important thing. The important thing is that we finally have two new female roles, including Nyong'o. This should be a time for rejoicing. I feel like cheering like the Corascuant scene at the end of VI.
