    3. What does being 'first' mean to you? Moreover, why do you think anyone else cares?

    1. I only found one, and it was a word misplaced, it did make the sentence pretty hard to understand tho. I apologize, it has been fixed.

    2. There is still one sentence that is unintelligible, but maybe its just the true quote is off. Anyway, you made all the other changes and it reads much better. Thanks.

    1. So the italic quote would show it's either taken from another article or translated lol. Also the fact his surname is To adds to more grammar confusion in the article title until I clicked more lol. Welp, let's hope everyone is as awesome as Kathleen Kennedy etc that hops onto the project, upside it looks like a lot of the script and planning were already done with a lot of freedom :D

    2. Yes, his last name makes any sentence his name is in seem incorrect..

  5. Sounds like Kathleen Kennedy just got demoted and is being very stepford about it.

    1. I don't think its a demotion. She is the President of Lucasfilm after all. If you notice, she's been at the film shoots which means she's being very hands-on to take care that Ep 7 is being done right. My guess is now that things are moving along and the tones of the movies have been set, she's delegating to someone she trusts to maintain that.

    2. It's Kathleen who is motivating and powering Lucasfilm, so she's going nowhere. She is of course aware that at least six new SW films and spin-off media requires a robust expansion of personnel. We're no longer in the George Lucas era of penny-pinching and vanity-film production - Star Wars has truly kicked up a few gears, and about time too! It's a goldmine that's been malnourished, coasting along on dvd/blu-ray re-releases and merchandise and milking the six movies dry. Star Wars needs fresh vistas and the new Lucasfilm, assisted by Disney, is going to deliver it in spades.

      Yeah, like she knows.

    4. With her decades of experience working directly with Lucas (and Spielberg) and scores of other film folks, definitely more than you, the opinionated anonymous internet poster! LOL

    5. Take Spielberg away from her, what's left?

    6. im sorry super nerd. The woman has never bombed. She's the wealthy and successful movie producer in the business and she's notoriously difficult and controlling. She is probably literally in a tent behind JJ watching the film and in moments of creative brain fart she will absolutely be expected to have opinions. I promise that every single casting was a co choice. This dude is an evp with a huge grasp on cost. I imagine Kathleen sets the budget and then has hired him to make the magic happen. Also this man will multiply if they expect a movie a year. He will be 6 guys. Kathleen was hand picked by George after an extremely long working relationship. I was told she insisted that new movies be made as a part of the Disney Deal because at first Disney wasn't set to timeline... it eventually adopted the Marvel Business Plan. 300 Million a movie International gross foreign and domestic 1.5 for episode who knows for the other three

  6. This article is really tricky and don't blame dandino for it. The name 'Tony To' really causes a mass confusion in the sentences.

  7. Just go to the "Variety" hyperlink on the top of the page, and you will realize the problem with this article: awful "copy and paste" !

  8. Everyone is always wonderful, very talented blah, blah. I'm afraid that the movie can not go wrong. These are all pictures from the set, models, puppets are just background. It's nice that the climate at least visually, but it does not indicate a success. Most important is the script, acting, directing, etc. If all this fails it could be a spectacular flop. And we all turn around photos, Mark Hamill chin, etc. Pathetic.

    1. There isn't much to go off of so I wouldn't fault people for analyzing (perhaps overanlyzing) things that can seem trivial sometimes. What you said about the script and the acting is obviously true though. Honestly there probably won't be a good way to really judge the movie until it's basically in theaters. I still (generally) enjoy reading the bits of info we get though.

    2. The screenplay is a good indicator of the film's fun-factor and sturdiness, but not a guarantee. TPM looked amazing until I read the illustrated screenplay. Although, Attack of the Clones via the Art of... book had a great script which was chopped up pretty badly during the final edit.
